Reflection: For my digital creativity visual project, I will create a commentary video that explores various media campaigns in the digital era, analyzing why certain campaigns succeeded or failed by examining the digital tools they used and how they utilized them. The goal of my project is to provide insights into effective digital strategies that can inform future social media posters in our increasingly digital world. I analyze two examples of successful brands (Poppi and Crumbl Cookies) that used social media tools such as TikTok (specifically creator partnerships) to amplify their audience and one example of an unsuccessful campaign (Lunchly) that used social media tools such as Twitter and YouTube to argue with their critics. I chose to use Canva’s AI tool Magic Design to create video footage for the introduction of the premise.
